Donate and help a victim become a survivor…

Every October La Casa, Inc. joins The Allstate Foundation in The Purple Purse Challenge. This is a friendly fundraising campaign where organizations dedicated to ending domestic abuse and financially empowering victims of domestic abuse compete to raise the most money with the top team winning a grand prize cash donation!

We are reaching out to the community to join in and help us reach our goal for 2018. Whether you donate $10 or $100, every donation is appreciated. Join us this October and let’s make this the best challenge yet! With community support we can accomplish anything!

La Casa, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization providing comprehensive services with the goal of reducing domestic violence and abuse in all forms. At this time, LCI offers an emergency shelter for those who are victims of abuse. During shelter stays, our goal is to educate and empower our residents through financial literacy, legal advocacy and self-sustainability through employment, legal immigration status and great parenting. We feed, clothe and lodge our residents. Residents include men, women and children. We also work with our offenders to ensure that the cycle is not repeated. We provide in-house counseling, and advocacy to address issues related to domestic violence and abuse. We are the only domestic violence shelter and comprehensive service provider in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. In addition, we provide the same service in the Southern most part of the County through our satellite office in Anthony, NM. We have had great impact over the years but there is still much more to do. Your support enables us to have the opportunity to do so.
